No forms full of jargon. Just three simple steps.
Take a photo, upload a PDF or paste the text—from a court form to a contract or NHS letter.
We show the document type, sender, evidence, confidence, deadlines and whether an official form is required.
Draft a response when that is safe—or go directly to the correct court process, adviser, charity or professional.
Upload a letter, screenshot, PDF or email text. We’ll guide you from there.
Nothing is drafted until the document and safest response route have been checked.
Translation safety: Explanations are not certified translations. Names, references, amounts, dates and quoted evidence remain in the original wording. Court, immigration and other official documents may require a qualified translator. Azure Document Intelligence recognises text from supported PDFs and images; translation and response-language features require the separate language service.
▣ Uploaded PDFs and images are encrypted in transit and processed using Azure Document Intelligence. Pasted text stays in this browser unless you request a connected language service. Your information is never sold.
We’ll explain the document’s main point here and flag whether it appears to need a response.
Every scan separates document identification from response drafting. If the safe next step is a form, filing or professional appointment, we tell you that before offering a letter.
Document type and sender are established first.
See the exact wording behind the result.
A confidence score shows when human checking is needed.
A generated letter never replaces a court form or statutory response.

Several tools explain official letters. LetterSorted is designed to show the evidence behind its classification and stop unsafe drafting when a form, filing or professional response is required.

No. LetterSorted helps you understand correspondence and draft a clear response. It does not provide legal advice or replace a qualified adviser for urgent or complex matters.
PDFs and images are sent securely to the LetterSorted server and the configured Azure Document Intelligence resource for recognition. The application does not intentionally save the original file, and it requests early deletion of the Azure analysis result after retrieval. Microsoft’s standard temporary retention can apply if that request fails. See the Privacy notice for full details.
Yes. You remain in control and can edit the wording to make sure every detail is accurate before you copy, download or send it.
We highlight dates we find, but you should always verify them against the original letter. Seek specialist help immediately if court action, eviction, deportation or another serious consequence is mentioned.
